Conservative Leaders Urge Governor Kasich to Repeal Ohio’s Estate Tax!

They continue….”The conditions for repeal will never be as favorable as now. We are concerned about recent statements by Senate leadership indicating a reluctance to bring SB90 to the floor for passage….”

Your fight to end Ohio’s death tax is also important on the national level as the repeal of the Ohio Estate Tax will likely lead to a domino effect of states abolishing their state estate and inheritance taxes. We strongly urge you to push forward now and insist that the Ohio state legislature pass legislation before summer recess to eliminate the Ohio estate tax. (Click here to read entire letter)

The citizens of Ohio place our faith in the newly elected General Assembly, Governor, and other statewide office holders to implement policies that will return Ohio to a land of opportunity and prosperity for all.

On behalf of our 1,600 volunteer petition circulators, nearly 80,000 petition signers from every Ohio county, Senate district, and House district, and all the organizations that endorse our campaign or that oppose Ohio's estate tax, we ask that the General Assembly pass a bill that ends Ohio's harmful estate tax in its entirety effective 12/31/2012 that can be presented to Governor Kasich for his signature before tax day 2011 (4/15/2011).
